Hotel in Centurion is looking for Banqueting Manager to manage daily operations of the Banqueting department whilst ensuring conferences run smoothly and providing memorable experiences to all guests. Responsibilities: Daily running of the Banqueting department Monitor and manage departmental inventories and assets Responsible for consistently implementing the service standards and operating procedures. Provide excellent guest service and ensure guests needs are met. Manage events from set up to break down. Guide the servers in a setup of tables and place settings Be familiar with all current and upcoming event details Coordinate with the kitchen and housekeeping department as required. Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in a Banqueting Material role in a 4-star hotel. Hospitality Management qualification would be an added advantage Work well under pressure Proficient in MS Office Guest and service driven Exceptional Interpersonal Skills Excellent Communication Skills High degree of self-motivation and ambition Good knowledge of Food & Beverage and Banqueting
