Responsibilities Receive and confirm bookings from Clients Ensure that banqueting Co-ordinator books and Tracks staff on way to bookings as per the requested times Communicate with clients regarding booking confirmations Communicate with Client via Phone and email should replacements be made Manage weekly rosters for core sites and ensure rosters are communicated with clients Manage and follow up on weekly trackers for all Adhoc bookings Arrange for the delivery of uniform where needed and ensure delivery and collection instructions are being made Build and maintain relationships with all clients. Ensure that regular meetings and feedback sessions are maintained Ensure that regular update training and skill improvement programmes are in place Assist with Recruitment of staff for Banqueting department Assist with Supervisor duties at core contracts when required Requirements Grade 12 3 years Banqueting Manager experience within a 5 Hotel Must be a good English communicator both verbal and emails Must be able to work under pressure and adapt to changes Problem solving skills is very important Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence – not negotiable Being able to plan and execute plans is crucial Computer Literate Be able to work long hours Must be able to keep to structures and keep procedures in place Must be able to communicate with clients on a senior management level Candidate must be able to work independently and run his department
