Position Type: Battery Bay attendant (Predominantly Forklift) working a Dayshift/Nightshift rotation (rotating – on a 4 shift pattern. Two days, two nights and four off.) Position Summary: Responsible for keeping Material Handling Equipment clean and operational with charged batteries, performing preventative maintenance and reporting of minor repairs on battery cables and connectors. Requires the use of machinery to change out batteries, check and add water to batteries and track changes. Troubleshooting and investigates equipment/battery malfunctions.
