Beauty Sales Representative - Cape Town City Centre

Seeking a strong sales professional focused in beauty or personal care for a natural Skincare brand.

You’ll have a passion for clean beauty brands and understand their reason for being, are a go getter with a strong self-motivation to succeed. Sales territory in Cape Town (Southern Suburbs).

About the role:

You will be responsible for driving trial, awareness, and increased sales, through calling on both existing and new stores for the various trade channels. This will require proper planning and organisational skills to ensure that you complete both the monthly call cycle and all admin and reports timeously. Furthermore, it is imperative that you conduct regular training, in store, with consultants and promoters to ensure that we educate and inform our customers and shoppers. Customer- events and trade shows, must be opportunities to drive brand awareness and sales. Excellence in execution, will be a key measurable of success and this will involve shelf health, stock availability and the effective use of the point -of- sale elements in your toolkit. Your people skills and ability to manage a team is critical to your success.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience (at least 5 years or more) either in skincare or cosmetics
  • Experience in training on brand
  • Beauty Diploma or equivalent an advantage
  • Own reliable vehicle plus valid driver’s licence
  • Local travel and occasional overtime and weekend hours
  • Experience in training on brand
  • Target and Incentive Driven
  • Strong negotiating and closing skills
  • Must be a team player, an active learner and problem-solver
  • Natural leadership ability
