Reference: CAW005310-NT-1BI Developer - George, Western Cape Our awesome client is looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer in George, Western Cape.You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the organization's data infrastructure and analytical solutions. Your primary focus will be on translating business requirements into effective and scalable data models, dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders from various departments to gather requirements, analyse data, and deliver actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field would be beneficial Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role in a Technological /Insurance industry, including hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL development, and dashboard/report creation Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Flow, or similar Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the organization's data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data marts, and data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and availability Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their analytical needs, and translate them into technical specifications Create visually appealing and intuitive dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Flow, or similar Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies, and propose appropriate solutions Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data security, data governance, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in BI and analytics and propose innovative solutions to enhance the organization's data capabilities Please note that only candidates with the required experience will be considered and contacted.
