The BI Developer will design and develop data sets and reports for business analytic requirements, using Apache airflow, Google BigQuery and Google looker studio. The BI Developer will assist in formulating strategies on how to aggregate data across multiple systems into a single repository for Analytics and Reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Design and develop data sets for reports and analytic requirements. Develop reports for business consumption based on requirements. Assist in formulating strategies on how to aggregate data across multiple systems into a single repository for analytics and reporting solutions. Interact with business departments to capture business requirements and reporting requirements. Convert business requirements into data pipelines and identify source data requirements. In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met: Matric / Grade 12 qualification. B Degree. 3 – 5 years' experience in data management. Technical Competencies: Experienced in SQL. Experience in turning raw source data into business data sets is an advantage. Knowledge of a reporting tool such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio is an advantage. Knowledge of Google BigQuery would be an added advantage. Knowledge of Python would be an added advantage.
