Reference: JHB000335-JG-1A provider of best in-class administrative and managed care services with a value-added service offering aimed at ensuring streamlined, efficient, and cost-saving processes in the management of Hospital Benefit, Pharmacy Benefit, Disease Risk and Oncology is looking for a Billing Manager.The role will involve supporting the Scheme Accountants in the preparation of accurate and timeous management accounts. Duties will include but not be limited to: Management of collection and reconciliation of monthly premiums billed to clients Management of arrears, overpayment and underpayment of contributions Ensuring that discrepancies in reconciliation are cleared Credit control of group and Direct paying members contributions Draw and analyse Management Reports Ensure Credit Control targets are met Update the bank statement comments on excel with the reconciliations that were done Setting quantity and quality standards for the department Interaction with internal and external clients including visits to clients to resolve issues Staff management which include recruitment, training, production management and performance management Manage year end changes Requirements: Finance qualification or BCom degree with accounting BCom Honours or Articles will be an advantage 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Credit Management position MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Email) Experience on an accounting software SAP knowledge will be an advantage Technical / professional knowledge Excellent communication skills – verbal and written Advanced Excel
