BIM Modeler (Structural ENgineering) - Cape Town Region
Roles & Responsibilities Responsibilities: Assist BIM Coordinators in creating, updating and revising BIM Models throughout the project life cycle Create and update BIM Models based on contract drawings and latest information Ensure integrity/ quality of the models Generate documentation and shop drawings for BIM Models Produce BIM Model deliverables for Construction, documentation and fabrication Develop BIM Models with the correct parameters and attributes for BIM Based quantification and simulation Identify issues for BIM Coordinators where discrepancies occur during design stage Requirements: Diploma or equivalent in Architectural / Civil & Structural/ Electrical & Mechanical At least 2 Year(s) of relevant experience in C&S, Reinforcement/ Architectural/ Electrical & Mechanical BIM Models related projects Well versed in Revit Able to complete models, shop drawings in timely and quality manner Knowledge in Bentley Open Building Designer, Dynamo will have an added advantage
