Microchem Specialized Lab Services seeks to recruit an MSc Microbiology or Biotechnology graduate to be trained as a Microbiological Analyst for our Benoni Lab. The applicant must have a clear criminal record, and preferably be available to start immediately. INHERENT REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB Customer centric attitude. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong organisational abilities. Detail orientated. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Flexible and innovative approach to work. Strong ability to work in a team environment. Perform microbiological analyses using standard testing protocols. Individuals must be conversant with QA/QC and standard operating procedures. Individuals must be conversant with ISO 17025 requirements. Being able to assess and interpret analytical results. The full job description will be given to those selected for an interview.
