MARULA PLATINUM LIMITED INTERNAL/EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT Boilermaker - C2 DATE OF DISTRIBUTION 18 May 2023 CLOSING DATE 27 May 2023 PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To safely install and repair guards and all steel structures as per the engineering/boilermaker training and certification MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS An N2 qualification is essential. Valid (Section 13) Trade certificate is essential. A minimum of 3 years working exposure as an Artisan is essential. A valid drivers licence and own transport Good knowledge of pipe development Self driven and high motivation The ability to maintain a high standard of work. The willingness to perform standby duties as and when required. The willingness and ability to work both in the process plant and underground operation is a requirement. Good knowledge of pipe works will be advantageous. A valid medical Certificate or be medically fit in order to obtain such a certificate. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: The successful candidate is responsible for: Planning and coordinating maintenance and breakdowns All general boiler making maintenance, including but not limited to pipe works, belt guards, palisades Underground & Surface boiler making work steel & aluminium Adhering to health, safety and good housekeeping rules and regulations Maintaining good people relations Training and development subordinates Exposure to welding of TM3 is an advantage. Knowledge of conducting a Risk Assessment is essential. Knowledge of Maintenance planning and execution is a requirement.
