Responsibilities:
  • Consistently apply proper and accurate accounting records in multiple jurisdictions and currencies
  • Consistently apply proper internal and accounting policies, procedures, and controls
  • Regulatory and tax accounting, filing and compliance
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
  • Preparation of annual audit packs
  • Preparation of annual budgets, and reporting performance against budgets
  • Providing financial insight and guidance to business unit managers and stakeholders as necessary and appropriate
  • Ad hoc financial analysis and commentary
  • General office administration
Requirements:
  • Matric
  • Accounting Degree or Advanced Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and concepts
  • Analytical skills, combined with the ability to present and explain information
  • Attention to detail, and tenacity to follow through and complete tasks
  • Confidentiality and discretion
  • Good IT skills, including Sage 300 ERP, Excel, Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
