Bookkeeper - Amanzimtoti
Responsibilities:
Consistently apply proper and accurate accounting records in multiple jurisdictions and currencies
Consistently apply proper internal and accounting policies, procedures, and controls
Regulatory and tax accounting, filing and compliance
Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
Preparation of annual audit packs
Preparation of annual budgets, and reporting performance against budgets
Providing financial insight and guidance to business unit managers and stakeholders as necessary and appropriate
Ad hoc financial analysis and commentary
General office administration
Requirements:
Matric
Accounting Degree or Advanced Diploma
Minimum 5 years experience
Excellent knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and concepts
Analytical skills, combined with the ability to present and explain information
Attention to detail, and tenacity to follow through and complete tasks
Confidentiality and discretion
Good IT skills, including Sage 300 ERP, Excel, Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
