We are seeking a Bookkeeper for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification with at least 5 years’ experience as a bookkeeper Previous experience in the quick service restaurant industry advantageous The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Import and match banking transactions and handle bank reconciliations Complete control of staff accounts and monitor bank accounts Month end debtors’ recons Banking and petty cash control Assist with audit readiness and queries Inter company debtors and creditors reconciliations Loan account reconciliations and general journal entries Balance sheet reconciliations and handling travel arrangements Staff welfare purchases and ensure all certificates / licenses are in place Daily submission of reports and handling of payments Payroll journal entries and stock control understanding and processing Following the PO projects process Capture invoices and handle the supplier application process Prepare creditors reconciliations and payments Loading of general payments – including beneficiary loading and reviewing Raising accruals and prepare creditors reconciliations Obtaining cash up sheets, import sales and follow up on differences Weekly / monthly reporting reconciliations Salary: R18 000.00 – R22 000.00 per month To apply email detailed CV and supporting documentation through to bronwynsheldon.co.za If you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful
