Company is currently looking to employ an experienced creditor/bookkeeper with the right “attitude”. Working hours: 7:30 to 16:30 • We don't work weekends unless urgent deadlines etc. We are looking for a dynamic, go-getter that is willing to do what it takes to get the job done and to take ownership. If a container leaves tonight, this candidate should not hesitate to put in some extra time because that is what the job requires. • Attitude – willing to go the extra mile • Must handle stress very well – it is a very fast paced industry • Conscientious, diligent and proud of their work Functions Be able to perform creditor recons Be able to cost invoices to correct department codes Understand Vat Be able to post cashbook payments / receipts Reconcile cashbooks on a daily basis Upload payments on Electronic banking Will be custodian for a number of companies Understand T accounts Pastel or similar experience Qualities required Logical thinker Be able to handle Stress Flexible and resilient Problem solver Positive attitude Be able to work in an accurate manner Be able to work within a large team Deadline driven Be able to prioritise Mainly a creditors function. Accounting / Bookkeeping knowledge and experience would be advantageous. Experience At least four years creditors/bookkeeping experience R10k – R15k ctc pm Provident fund: - CTC to be provided in the future Medical aid: can join but part of CTC
