Reference: CPT003350-Del-1Our client is needing a fully bilingual bookkeeper to trial balance, living in the Stellenbosch area, to join their company. You will need to be a self-starter, with attention to detail, complete with a solid work history as a bookkeeper. The finance team is small (and growing) with passionate staff working in a relaxed office culture. REQUIREMENTS Matric with relevant qualification Min 5 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role Experience in Xero advantageous. Bilingual in English and Afrikaans Excellent financial acumen, accuracy, and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail Own transport DUTIES Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions for the company Update and maintain the general ledger Reconciliation of entries into the Xero accounting system Debtors and Creditors functions Maintain the trial balance Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions Various SARS related administrative duties Managing the VAT returns Management of the banking, loading of payments etc Monitor any variances from projected budget Managing the filing system General administration duties related to managing the finance sector Salary: R25k – R30k Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
