The Branch Manager position had become vacant at the Kempton Park, JHB depot of the Cullinan Transport Division. The Branch Manager is responsible for oversight of all aspects of the business, where three of our brands are represented, including the workshop, operations, permanent staff and Independent Contractors. Very strong administrative- and managerial skills. 2. A cautious, proactive personality that doesn't leave anything to chance. 3. The ability to manage his/her time in such a manner that no deadlines are missed, all work is properly done, discipline is administered consistently and quickly, and the team delivers high quality work. 4. Must have excellent conflict management skills and no conflict avoidance tendencies. 5. Must have an innate, deep respect for consistency and fairness in the application of rules and the management of people. 6. Must be able to motivate a team and earn the respect of each staff member, leading by example. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Matric/Grade 12 certificate. • 10 years' managerial experience, with staff members reporting to you. • Proven experience in disciplinary action (including initiating- and chairing a Hearing). • Computer literate in MS Office, with at least intermediate skills in Excel. • An excellent command of English, both verbally and written. • Code B driver's licence. • Must be an RSA citizen. • A proven record of good interpersonal- and communication skills. • Proven experience in operations management. • Experience in financial reporting. ADVANTAGEOUS REQUIREMENTS • Relevant formal qualification. • Experience with preparing for CCMA cases. • Experience in advanced business reporting. • Management experience in different industries and/or business settings.
