Work from home in South Africa at Oceans in house design agency Overeasy on exciting US brands. Oceans is creating an in house design agency called Overeasy led by Heather-Mariah Dixon and Andrew Deitchman and we're looking to make our first full-time hires. We have projects running, and may start with one of them to be sure we all love working together before moving to a full-time commitment. The Role: Brand Designer We're looking for a traditional graphic designer whose biggest passion lies in creating brand identity systems. You have a strong sense of art and design history and excellent taste. When you think about brand identity, you go way beyond a logo and strive to create entire brand worlds. You'll easily flex and dip you toes into photo art direction, illustration and type design. Who You Are: 3-6 years professional experience A portfolio of branding case studies that clearly show their process, approach and rationale Expert skills in the Adobe Suite Figma proficiency The ability to think conceptually and strategically about a design system An understanding of greater design trends and when to use or avoid them A keen interest in typography and reverence for the letterform Excellent attention to detail Collaborative and self sufficient Powered by JazzHR
