Business Analyst - - East London

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Degree in Financial Management / Economics / Accounting
3+ years experience in dealing with the structuring of investments, due diligence experience and investment incentives
2 years exposure to investment promotions / economic development fields
2 years project fundraising and packaging experience
Development finance & project development advantageous
Highly proficient in spoken & written English and able to develop presentations
Code EB drivers license and good computer literacy
Knowledge of SCM policies, PFMA, investor compliance, CRM systems, financial management & controls, SHE Act, import / export practices and due diligence

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Investment analysis proposal suitability; pipeline analysis & reporting; inventive package analysis
Facilitate access to market development incentives and support programmes identify sector specific incentives; enable linkage to government trade missions; incentive benchmarking
Project funding compile/provide investment incentive packages; development of project proposals; maintain database of funders and compile funding plan
Project development and quarterly performance reporting

Salary: R1 232 186 per annum + medical & provident
