Business Consultant Cape Town - Cape Town Region

The business consultant will be responsible for driving new business growth, requiring proactive efforts to identify and secure opportunities in the market. This role will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence in the Cape Town region through strategic partnerships with brokers and corporate entities. The primary responsibility of this role will be to develop and implement innovative strategies that drive significant revenue growth and market share within the broker and corporate business segments. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a proven track record in business development and consultancy in healthcare DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Broker and Corporate Relationship Management •Foster strong relationships with key decision-makers in brokerage firms and corporate entities. •Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and preferences, ensuring a proactive and client-centric approach Sales and Business Development •Drive business growth through a hands-on approach, including direct engagement with potential clients. •Implement a consultative sales approach, understanding the unique needs of brokers and corporate clients to tailor solutions effectively. •Proactively initiate direct outreach and conduct face-to-face meetings to establish and cultivate key relationship. Market and Analysis and Research •Utilise industry tools, market surveys, and data analytics to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the broker and corporate business landscape. •Provide in-depth analyses of competitor strategies, pricing models, and service offerings. Strategic Planning •Develop multi-faceted business growth strategies, considering factors such as market segmentation, risk analysis, and regulatory considerations. •Create a roadmap for successful market entry, outlining short-term and long-term objectives. Performance Monitoring and Reporting •Establish a robust reporting framework, providing timely and insightful reports on the performance of new business initiatives. •Conduct regular reviews of KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation. Team Collaboration: •Act as a bridge between business development and other functional teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. •Work closely with the product development team to align offerings with market demands and client feedback. Training and Development: •Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of internal teams. •Organise workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to keep the team abreast of industry trends and best practices. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED •Bachelor's degree in business/ marketing, or a related field will be advantageous. •3 -5 years of experience in business consulting, with a focus on healthcare services. •Proven success in developing and implementing business growth strategies, with tangible results in revenue expansion. •Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in data interpretation and market trend analysis. •Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a client-centric mindset. •Demonstrated ability to thrive in a target-driven environment. •Familiarity with regulatory frameworks affecting the financial and corporate sectors Apply Now
