Business Developer - Durban

Will suit a sales-focused go-getter with the ability to think outside of the box.

Actively create awareness about the brand in the KZN branch and create a network of clients and other related stakeholders. Ensure sales are met by promoting the companys services in the market and converting leads into sales. Collect relevant market intelligence and design a value proposition to clients. Attend industry relevant events and keep abreast of the developments in the industry.

Ensure feedback sessions are held with clients, ensure enrolment is aligned to the available resources, and ensure that the training process is managed efficiently and effectively.

Create a database of companies that can host learners for the mandatory on-the-job training. Ensure that the host-companies comply with the SETA and other relevant bodies requirements for hosting of learners and where necessary, assist companies to comply with the "hosting" requirements.

Act as a 2IC to the General Manager and oversee the basic day to day functioning of the branch.

Requirements:
  • At least three years experience in the technical training environment (not negotiable)
  • Tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing
  • Familiarity with the SETAs, NAMB and QCTO administrative requirements
  • Ability to work outside of the "normal working hours"
