What We're Looking For: Minimum of 7 years in short-term insurance With at least 5 of those years in a commercial sales and service capacity in a broking environment. You should hold a Matric certificate. Level 4 FETC Short-term Insurance Qualification Have passed the FAIS Regulatory Exam A higher certificate in insurance Or A Post-matric qualification (BComm Risk/Accounting, BBA) is advantageous. Skills and Competencies:To excel in this role, you'll need to demonstrate strong business acumen, negotiation, and influencing skills. You should also be proficient in computer literacy, communication, and have excellent time management abilities. Knowledge of the insurance and brokerage industry, along with technical commercial insurance knowledge, is essential. Additionally, you'll liaise with clients regularly, identify marketing opportunities, and maintain administrative processes.
