Business Development Manager - Cape Town City Centre

The role is available in Johannesburg or Cape Town. As the Business Development Manager for South Africa, you will be responsible for driving sales of our client’s IT products and services in the region. You will identify new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients, and achieve sales targets. This role requires a deep understanding of the IT industry and a strong track record in sales.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in IT sales, with at least 8-12 Years of experience.
  • Strong sales - hunter who can acquire new business.
  • Ability to identify sales leads and develop new business.
  • Maintain and foster longstanding client relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional and cultural groups to formulate appropriate sales propositions.
  • Resilient and excel in a fast-paced, high energy, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Expert in selling technology solutions and services, channel sales, proven track record, referenceability.
  • Extensive local networking and business connections in the specified regions.
  • Strong understanding of the IT industry and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within South Africa.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth in South Africa.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and materials.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends and competitors.
  • Achieve sales targets and report on sales performance.
