Business Development Manager (Road Surfacing) - East London
Our client, a leader in road surfacing and application, seeks to employ a vibrant, experienced and qualified New Business Development Manager to join their depot in East London. Please note that we need a candidate who has a background in road construction, road surfacing, slurry or asphalt sectors, couple with experience in business/sales development, contract management, branch budget preparation, HSE management and managing existing customers. KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION You will have completed either a business or engineering tertiary qualification, coupled with 5-8 years proven leadership experience in a fast paced and highly competitive environment, with preference being in road construction, road surfacing, slurry or asphalt sector. You will have experience in sales/new business development in the road construction or related field, specifically focused on building relationships with the view to generating revenue and professional networks within the Border region. You will have a solid background in preparing and managing budgets, as well as expense management, as well as delivering timeous reports. You will have a proven background in operations management, being able to identify risk, problem solve and ensure customer satisfaction through service delivery and ensuring product availability from the manufacturing plants and suppliers.
