Business Development Officer (Training) Market Related - South Africa

An accredited training provider is looking to employ a driven and result-oriented Business Development Officer with experience in the training environment. They must be able identify business growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase company sales. The Officer will take up the sales role in the Learning and Development department at the Company. MUST COME FROM A TRAINING INDUSTRY An in-depth understanding and application of B-BBEE codes Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales. Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased training business. Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales. Cold calling as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network. Identify potential clients, and the decision makers Research and build relationships with new clients. Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's training team, associate consultants or executive representatives. Plan approaches and pitches. Work with the training team to develop appropriate proposals, concepts or quotes that speak to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives. Recruiting, training, and guiding business development staff. Submit accurate regular progress reports Meeting and/or exceeding individual targets and contributing to the overall team targets (monthly, quarterly and annual). Participate in pricing the training solutions/services. Work with other team member to ensure that the Company is prequalified as a training provider. Analyzing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits. Ad hock projects National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business management or administration, finance, accounting, marketing, or related field. Must have proven experience working experience in business development, marketing and sales in training, consulting or similar environment Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. The ability to travel as needed. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills. Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills. Effective communication skills. Strong business acumen. Detail-oriented. Leadership and organizational skills Selling skills Research and analytical skills Must have own vehicle Basic Salary Commission Apply Now
