Business Finance Process Engineer - - Durban

Minimum Job Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science
Minimum 5 years working in a Finance role.
Minimum 5 years experience working with SAP FI in a project environment with experience implementing the full project life cycle.
Advanced knowledge of SAP FI including AP, AR, GL, FA and Treasury.

Report to the General Manager: Finance:

Participate in the activities for implementing and enhancing SAP for the financial business processes.
Troubleshoot production issues by providing Level 2 and Level 3 support for Finance related business processes and applicable IT solutions.
Engage with the business to gather and analyse business requirements related to financial accounting processes and system capabilities.
Define gaps between business requirements and As-Is solutions.
Work with the Solution team to identify and implement custom solutions and ensure alignment with industry best practices and adherence to statutory reporting requirements.
Translate functional requirements (change requests) into SAP system configurations and development, leveraging technical and process-based expertise in SAP FICO module.
Reconfigure and customise the SAP FICO module (including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost element accounting, and profit centre accounting), interfaces, and additional tools based on business requirements.
Create understanding of technical aspects of the SAP system, including data structures, interfaces, and security considerations.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of SAP technologies, solutions, modules, and integration points.
Provide support for documentation, testing, training, incident management, and education for local key users.
