Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair has a vacancy for a Business mprovement Manager at our head office Bonaero Park. The successful applicant will report to the Senior Manager: Innovation. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and lead the Industrial Engineers team; Drive continuous improvements through business process engineering that interprets strategy, operations, and technology; Implement and maintain standards for industrial engineering activities and project execution; Manage sprints and delivery with Industrial Engineers team for both operations and project activities; Manage resolution of incidents and problems reported through support channels that require 2nd line support from engineers; Ensure SME ownership of systems that result in high levels of expertise and systems knowledge; Ensure that systems are maintained and remain optimal; Ensure that all relevant documentation processes are in place; Communicate with stakeholders in the various business and operational streams; Contribute to the strategic priorities within the Innovation department; Perform Senior Industrial Engineering activities within the specified business stream; A strong customer-centric focus is essential; Drive change management in a pro-active manner. REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12; BEng Industrial Engineering; Honours Industrial Engineering or equivalent postgraduate qualification; 10 years of management experience is preferable.
