Job description/responsibilities: Sourcing of goods. Requesting for quotations from suppliers. Obtaining the necessary information for logistics – weight, volume, type of packaging. Preparing spreadsheets in Excel used for quotations. Calculating weight/volume and liaising with freight company for transport estimates. Compiling presentations. Corresponding with clients. Follow up – email, phone. Processing of orders with clients and suppliers. Following up on various issues. Organising the export with relevant service providers, such as freight forwarders. Organising 3rd party inspection with inspection companies. Preparing export documents: invoices, packing lists. Obtaining required documents from freight forwarder such as Bill of Lading, Airway bills, Road consignment notes. Keep client updated on order status. Stock report. Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric). Qualifications in commerce will be an added advantage. Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Skills: Adequate language skills in English. Must be proficient in Excel. Must have good math skills. Adequate knowledge using Microsoft outlook – internet. Should be able to work under pressure.
