Experience Requirements: Computer literacy is essential. A minimum of at least 5 years of buying and expediting of electronic components and devices is essential. The Buyer must be able to negotiate at a high level in order to gain maximum advantage to the Client. Academic Requirements: A diploma/certificate in buying/expediting. Any tertiary qualifications in computers and stores and stock control will be advantageous. Objective of the Job: To have all the necessary spares available at all times and to expedite and purchase spares with the minimum turnaround time, as and when required by the DOD as well as the Contractor in accordance with standards and procedures and in terms of contractual agreements between the Client and the Contractor.
