Our client, in the manufacturing industry, is looking for a Buyer to join their team. Prepare and raise purchase orders Following up with Suppliers on deliveries and supply issues Management of Outstanding Orders daily Resolve price, quality, delivery or invoicing issues with Suppliers Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity Prepare reports and updates as and when required Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures Compile data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluation Assist with Administration Any other admin related duties as required by the company Degree or 3-year Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management Or equivalent qualification 3-5 years purchasing experience Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills Good communication skills Good organizational skills Ability to prioritize and to be able to work under pressure Willing to put in the extra effort to achieve goals Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem - solving abilities Keen attention to detail and accuracy Experience in use of MS office Market related
