Receive, action, control Import/Export instructions and open vessel folders; Print Container Terminal Orders (CTOs), as per delivery instructions received from consignees and submitting it to our cartage department and/or nominated transporters long distance; Arrange and submit rail intents for full / empty instruction based on instructions received Arrange deliveries with clients and Monitor deliveries, by checking available tracking resources, to inform clients of possible delays to services; Performing inventory checks of CTs & CDs to ensure that all planned deliveries have been actioned & that empties have been collected from the nominated CDs; Check supplier invoices for payment and ensure that costs are recovered from parties concerned, including costs associated with special services rendered; Process CTO's for long hauls; Capturing CTO's Liaise with suppliers Adhere to prescribed procedures when arranging deliver of abnormal cargo (e.g. Hazardous); Action amendments / early / late arrival requests as received Issue instruction to Freight Department to recover all associated applicable charges for Carrier movements and any Merchant bookings whereby cost incurred / amendment or otherwise. After hours standby to monitor road & rail related operations; Filing, prepare weekly and monthly statistics; Complete Accounts related documentation/resolves debtor queries and assist recovering late payment and authorize 3rd party invoices; Provide on-carriage/pre-carriage quotations to clients and other departments/regions; Handling exceptional tasks assigned by management; Matric Computer literate - basic excel proficiency is essential Relevant tertiary qualification preffered 2 years Logistics / Shipping experience will be beneficial Must be able to work under pressure and be able to communicate well Must be able to start immediately.
