Cashbook Clerk - Woodstock

Reporting to: Finance Manager and Treasury Manager Job Purpose: Cashbook and banking administrator. The Cashbook Clerk will be responsible to fulfil the full cashbook function for our group companies. The Cashbook Clerk will also be responsible for the loading of payments and dealing with the banking administration. Location: Woodstock, Cape Town KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Under the management / direction of the Group Accountant, Finance Manager and Treasury Manager, you will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to): Cashbook function: - Accurate and Timeous upload of payments. - Accurate cashbook processing within set deadlines. - Reconcile Cashbooks in Accpac to bank statements. - Reconcile Trial Balance to Cashbook and Bank statements. - Addressing Cashbook queries. Banking: - Loading and checking payment instruction file - Loading of 3rd party payments and - All inter-company transfers. MININUM REQUIREMENTS: - Matric - Basic financial background. - High level of competency in Microsoft excel. - Minimum 2 years Cashbook/ Creditor's experience. - Experience in Accpac / Pastel. - Experience in business online banking. Working across regions advantages. Working Hours: You will be required to work a maximum of 45 hours per week. Monday to Friday: You will be required to work from 08:00am - 17:00pm.
