Reference: CAW005176-CZ-1Junior Chef - George - Western Cape Our awesome client based in George, Western Cape is looking to employ a Junior Chef for their George branch.Duties: Provide excellent preparation and presentation of food Stock take and maintenance there of Maintain Health and Safety policies and procedures and overall hygiene and cleanliness of restaurant Training, discipline, managing and motivating of staff Communicate with customers to assess level of customer satisfaction Coordinating the operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts Ensure customer service is maintained at a high level Look for opportunities to improve procedures, and make improvements where appropriate Greet customers, advise on menu and wine items and take orders during busy hours Any other responsibilities relating to the restaurant as outlined by management Administration and processing invoices Menu development and planning About you: Ability to remain calm, even when working under pressure Be well organised and hard working Flexible availability as per trade demand Good sense of humour Motivated quick thinker and fast on your feet Can do attitude and solutions focused Requirements: Excellent command of the English language Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef at one establishment Tertiary qualification as a Chef will be beneficial Drivers license and own vehicle Contactable references Please note that only experienced candidates will be considered and contacted.
