The candidate must have a technical and/or mechanical background/qualification and possesses a N1N3 and/or N4N6 certificate, focusing on the theory of fitting, turning, and machining. A mechanical aptitude will be a strong advantage.

Requirements:

Strong basic technical and engineering abilities.
Proven manufacturing skills, troubleshooting abilities and engineering knowledge.
Demonstrate leadership through effective interaction and communication with clients, peers and members of supervisory and management levels.
Minimum of 3 years working experience in site installations, manufacturing & assembly.
Valid and unendorsed Code 08 drivers license.

Skills:

Good command of both English and Afrikaans.
Detail orientated; reliable, self-disciplined, problem solving and technical report writing.
Ability to perform unsupervised tasks and supervision of work units.
Travel for work - In some cases the time duration could be anything for a week or 2.
Have strength, stamina, and flexibility.
Follow safety protocols Safety knowledge is extremely crucial and practiced regularly.
