Job summary: Responsible for implementation of production processes and procedures, leading productivity improvements with project-based activities, reducing waste, improving quality and safety, and reducing operating costs. Managing KPIs and ensuring preventative actions are taken to prevent downtime. Working on many phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity. Working under general supervision. Role reports to the CTO/ Principal Process Engineer. Requirements: BSc. Engineering (Chemical)/ NDip Minimum of 2 years' experience in production engineering role Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word) Communication skills (verbal and written) Organisationsal skills Leadership skills KPI's: Optimized Yields; Reduction in Losses Reduced Safety incidents Development of SOP's; Check Sheets Position responsibilities: Development of Standard Operating Procedures Development of check sheets Process monitoring Tracking product yields, losses and efficiencies Troubleshooting Plant constraints Facilitating Root Cause Analysis Developing Plant Change Requests Desired Skills: Chemical engineering Production engineering RCA PCR SOP Process Control Process Engineering Process Management Process Improvement Desired Work Experience: 2 to 5 years Food & Beverage Manufacturing 2 to 5 years Chemical Engineering Desired Qualification Level: Degree About The Employer: FMCG Manufacturer
