Our client, a leading innovator in the chemical manufacturing industry with a focus on developing high-performance adhesives, is currently seeking a skilled Chemist to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in adhesive technologies and chemical processing, who is passionate about product development and innovation. Responsibilities: Lead the formulation and development of new adhesive products and enhance the performance of existing products. Conduct rigorous testing and analysis to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality control, to scale up production processes from lab to manufacturing scale. Troubleshoot and resolve complex chemical processing issues. Maintain accurate records of formulations, tests, and trials in accordance with regulatory requirements. Stay abreast of technological advancements and competitive trends in the adhesive industry to drive continuous improvement. Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams and customers. Key Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams. Proficiency in chemical analysis and testing techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, etc. Knowledge of chemical safety and handling procedures. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Innovative thinking with a focus on developing practical solutions to complex problems. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PhD is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a chemist role, specifically within the adhesive or chemical processing industry. Demonstrated experience in adhesive formulation and product development. Familiarity with regulatory standards and certifications relevant to the chemical and adhesive industry. Proficient in using laboratory software and equipment. Apply Now
