The Chief Financial officer will ensure ongoing viability and secure their financial future in line with the organisation’s business objectives. You will be supported with resources to ensure the success of the entity. You must have experience with Private Equity Deals and running with a deal from a funding perspective. Job & Company Description:This position is an operational finance and commercially driven role, and the incumbent will be required to work closely with the Executive and Management teams to drive and deliver on financial strategy by supporting key business initiatives through the relevant planning, business development and reporting requirements. You will oversee the financial, administrative, regulatory, record-keeping and risk management responsibilities, and work alongside other members of the executive management team to determine and drive the overall direction for the business.You must have experience with Private Equity Deals and running with a deal from a funding perspective. This position is operationally and commercially driven, however, you will be 100% responsible for ensuring a optimal finance department. Duties & Responsibilities: Influence decision making and actions towards the achievement of agreed strategic objectives Drive the financial strategic plan to drive sustainable financial results, provide strategic advice and drive operational finance and governance excellence, monitoring and reporting to enhance the decision-making process of the company Accountable for all aspects of financial management and accounting Oversee the financial, administrative, regulatory, record-keeping and risk management responsibilities; and work alongside other members of the executive management team to determine an overall direction for the business Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial results, budgets, forecasts and annual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and accounting policies In-depth understanding of the company’s budget and expenses, as well as any monitoring and investigations of discrepancies if required Manage the flow of money between the various business partners making sure the company can meet all financial and regulatory obligations, both internal and external Manage the relationship and year-end reporting timetable with the external auditors Drive the appropriate governance and compliance for all relevant financial policies and controls across the business, and must have a sound understanding of IFRS Job Experience & Skills Required: CA(SA) with 12 years post articles experience 5 years' experience CFO/COO Fintech, Telecoms, Law Firm, Professional services background preferred Ability to articulate complex information For more information contact:Tatum KaramExecutive Consultant: CA(SA), CIMA and General Finance R 3400000 - R 3500000 - Annually
