Requirements:
  • Post Graduate qualification in Information Technology.
  • 8-10 years experience within the corporate IT environment.
  • All-round and sound knowledge of IT Applications, systems, and infrastructure.
  • 3+ years of working with MS SQL Server, SQL Scripting & Data schemes.
  • Strong client service orientation.
  • Strategic and Leadership skills.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Developing, coaching, and mentoring talent.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving.
  • Organisational skills and ability to run multiple tasks.
  • Report writing.
  • Ability to function well under pressure and work to deadlines.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
  • Strategic Planning: adapt, implement, and maintain the IT Strategy within the companys business goals/strategy.
  • Financial Management which requires the management and monitoring of Capital and Expenditure budgets as well as management and oversight of Vendor agreements.
  • Human Resource management of both the IT Systems and Technical teams.
  • Ensuring IT Governance excellence by enforcing IT policies/standards, maintaining the IT Risk Register, and overseeing the implementation of Cybersecurity Measures and Disaster Recovery plans.
  • Oversee the management of all IT applications life cycles to ensure employees can perform their duties optimally.
  • Oversight and management of the companys IT infrastructure for optimal performance and support of department goals, including LAN, WAN, and remote access.
  • Formal reporting to the Board of Directors on all matters related to IT -Strategy, Governance, Risks, Cybersecurity and Projects.
