Reference: JHB006201-AM-2 Our client, a successful global industrial company is urgently looking for a Chief Information Officer / CIO to be responsible for the technology infrastructure, systems and process alignment of the company. We are only able to considering candidates who have worked for global business's in the manufacturing, industrial and mining sector due to the nature of their business. We also need candidates who have been in their roles for many years to demonstrate follow through on strategy, loyalty ad The role will be to take responsibility for the company's information technology, computer systems with duties including assessing current processes, recommending software improvements and directing the executive team on the best processes. This is an exciting opportunity to work in Dammam - Saudi Arabia. - it is a permanent role, with long term prospects. In order to be considered the following is required: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field Minimum of 10 years working in a technological / technical role Minimum of 5 years of senior management or executive experience Previous experience as a CIO , CTO, Director or a similar leadership role Exceptional team / people management skills Strong stakeholder experience Data management Vendor and partner management Project management Ability to enhance processes A highly analytical mind set with superb problem-solving skills Outstanding communication and presentation skills Responsibilities: Ensuring that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs Outline the goals for research and development Managing IT staff and developing department goals Developing and overseeing the IT budget Planning, deploying and maintaining IT systems and operations Overseeing relationships with vendors, contractors and service providers Develop goals and strategies to ensure the IT department runs smoothly and effectively Direct and establish IT-related projects Monitor changes in the technology sector to discover ways the company can improve and develop Supervise the networks and computer systems in the company to ensure optimal performance Plan and direct the implementation of new IT systems Provide leadership to IT specialists and other staff within the company Create and adapt technological platforms to improve the client experience Troubleshoot data-related issues and establish regular maintenance Salary: $14 000- $16 000 per month / R260 000 – R304 000 (no income tax in Saudi Arabia) The above includes a housing and transport allowance and there will be a 6 monthly potential incentive pay for KPI delivery.
