Chief Marketing Officer – CMO - Pretoria

A well-rounded CMO is needed to streamline this entrepreneurial group of businesses’ marketing vision, brand and services to catapult them to be the best in South Africa. As the Chief Marketing Officer, you will spearhead this Group in their advertising and sales strategies. Your role will encompass developing the structure of the marketing department, approving innovative campaign ideas, and coordinating marketing efforts with finesse. You will be at the helm of this company's overall marketing strategy, ensuring optimal budget allocation and leading the team to conduct insightful customer outreach research A dual role steering the group as well as the full advertising and sales strategy for one of the subsidiaries Set compelling goals and objectives for the marketing department Strategically plan and execute the marketing strategy Manage the annual and quarterly marketing budget to maximize impact Lead the marketing team in conducting in-depth research to enhance customer outreach and market share Align the marketing plans with internal stakeholders for seamless collaboration Stay ahead of the competition through continuous research on best practices and technology Design, plan, and implement marketing campaigns to generate high-quality leads Foster strong relationships with strategic partners to elevate the functionality Develop the PR strategies and optimize communication channels Identify trends and insights for digital marketing campaigns and optimize spending Qualities / Competencies: Proven experience as a CMO/Marketing Director, preferably in financial services Strong strategic thinking skills and a deep understanding of market dynamics and emerging trends Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of fostering collaboration Ability to drive growth and innovation in a dynamic business environment Proficiency in data analysis tools and various marketing platforms Experience in leading and evolving in a constantly changing environment Qualification: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required MBA or advanced degree preferred Contact Selandea McGuinness on smguinnesscommunicate.co.za or 021 418 1750, quoting the Ref: CTI003328.
