Job Title: CIP Facilitator: Sales & Supply Chain Division: WMSA Location: Alrode Purpose of Role: The successful candidate will manage the enhancement of efficiency and effectiveness of the business value chain and optimize the work flows, reducing costs and improve quality within various structures of the business. Key Responsibilities: Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Continuous improvement: Execution of continuous improvement programs in the business value chain network. Execution of key CI projects as part of the overall CIP strategy. These includes but not limited to: Execution of the continuous improvement programmes in the supply chain and sales departments Management and improvement of Group Best Practice comparison and scoring People: Development and growth of team members and company Recommend training and development plans where necessary Conduct performance assessments on subordinates on semi-annual basis Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: B.Sc./Honors/B Tech/B Eng: Industrial engineering 5 years’ experience in a change management role, leading continuous improvement programmes Ability to create dashboards and visual interactive reports using Power platform Value stream mapping / error proofing / cost management / TPM / problem solving / six sigma project Strong leadership and management skills to oversee and coordinate the work of a team of industrial engineers and other professionals Effective communication skills to interact with team members, other departments, and upper management Critical thinker and problem solving skills Demonstrate high quality of work in the form of (report writing, Oral and written presentations) Founded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
