Civil Engineer (Associate) - Pretoria
Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial, quality, resourcing, scheduling and technical risk during project lifecycle
- Experience in professional services tendering and agreements.
- Experience and understanding of statutory approval processes.
- Lead and manage a design team, including mentoring of junior staff members.
- Experience in construction contract documentation compilation (SAICE GCC) and procurement processes.
- Experience in contract administration.
- Work well in a team environment
- Strong communication and people relation management skills.
- Work well in a dynamic team environment and able to function independently with limited guidance
- Sense of urgency and ability to respond efficiently and effectively in the execution of project tasks
- Suitable candidate must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle, candidate must be willing to travel to remote sites.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the planning of infrastructure utilzing computer aided designs packages such as Civil3D, WaterMate and PipeMate or similar design packages will be an advantage
Qualifications And Experience:
- Candidate must have a B Eng/BSc Eng in Civil Engineering
- Prior experience in the planning of infrastructure utilzing computer aided designs packages such as Civil3D, WaterMate and PipeMate or similar design packages will be an advantage
- Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years experience in the planning, procurement and administration of municipal services
- Candidate must be registered as a Pr Eng
