Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Eng / BSc Eng in Civil Engineering; and registered as a Professional Engineer (PrEng) at ECSA
5+ years post registration experience in water & sanitation infrastructure development
Water & sanitation planning experience
Experience in bulk water supply lines, pipelines & pumpstations
Groundwater development and rural water supply experience
Sound understanding of construction contracts (GCC, FIDIC Red/Yellow Book)

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Exposure to large multi-year infrastructure refurbishment and upgrading projects
Mentoring and managing a planning and design team during project development stages of projects
Design development, documentation, procurement, construction administration and close out
Managing project in accordance with QMS
