Our reputable Civil client is seeking a Civil Site Foreman (Construction) to join their team based in Strand, CPT Working Conditions- On-site Salary : R15000 basic Company car Cell allowance R500.00 CTC (dependent on experience) Requirements : Valid driver's license and Own vehicle Matric years experience in Civil Projects Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines Must have experience in setting out levels using a dumpy level, have strong concrete, pipework, and earthworks experience. Responsibilities : Overseeing the logistical requirements of projects Delegating daily work/tasks to employees Meeting regularly with Directors to report on progress Setting targets, objectives, and responsibilities for all supervised staff Regularly reviewing timings, budget, labour, risk, and project plans to ensure work stays on track and within budget Manage hired machinery cost effectively Inspect work and quality of work on an ongoing daily basis Check and timeously order materials Ensure staff are following the OH&S act Keep Safety Files up to date Ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within contract timescales Working on a construction site but still handing in daily paperwork e.g., daily dairy's, DSTI's, MOS sheets, quality control sheets etc. Record keeping of staff hours worked, compiling wages sheets Keeping record of delays and claims, plant hours, materials, labour hours Manage subcontractors and their measurements and claims Source new work e.g. tenders, private individuals and/or sector Contribute to tenders and quotes Keep track of costing on sites Please take note: if you have not been contacted within 14 days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
