RPO Recruitment is working with a leading engineering consulting company based in Cape Town to find a skilled and dedicated Civil Technician to join their team. As a Civil Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting various civil engineering projects and assisting the engineering team in delivering high-quality solutions to clients. Responsibilities Assist in the design and preparation of civil engineering plans, drawings, and specifications Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess project feasibility Perform calculations and analysis to support design decisions Assist in the coordination and management of construction projects Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to achieve project objectives Requirements Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field Previous experience as a Civil Technician or similar role Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software Good understanding of civil engineering principles and practices Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment Attention to detail and accuracy in work Valid driver's license Benefits Salary negotiable RPO Recruitment focuses on helping you reach your personal and professional goals by connecting you to your perfect career path.
