As they continue to grow, they are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Claims Manager to join their dedicated team. Job Summary: As a Claims Manager in the short term insurance space, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the motor claims department. Your primary focus will be on efficiently processing and resolving motor claims while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. They are seeking an individual with a strong understanding of motor claims and the ability to effectively lead a team. - Oversee the motor claims department, ensuring claims are processed in a timely and efficient manner. - Assess the validity of claims and determine coverage based on policy terms and conditions. - Collaborate with the investigation team to analyze accident reports, gather evidence, and make informed decisions. - Efficiently communicate with clients, insurance agents, and other stakeholders regarding claim status, settlement offers, and negotiations. - Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations. - Train and mentor claims team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development. - Analyze claims data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement, and implement strategies to minimize risk and enhance claim performance. - Liaise with external service providers, such as assessors and repairers, to ensure quality services are provided to clients. - Stay updated with industry knowledge, regulations, and trends related to motor claims to ensure continuous improvement and optimal claim handling. Bcom degree - Proven experience as a Claims Manager or similar role in the short term insurance industry, with a focus on motor claims. - Deep understanding of motor claims processes, policy terms, and coverage. - Solid knowledge of insurance regulations, industry best practices, and compliance requirements. - Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an attention to detail. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members. - Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. - Proficient in using claims management software and other related tools.
