Clients and Markets Manager - Edge Executive Search - Bloemfontein

Reference: JHB003677-RM-1This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and talented Africa Clients & Markets Manager to work closely with and support the Africa Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Africa Clients and Markets Leadership Committees on clients and markets development activity.In addition, you will work closely with the Firm-wide Clients, Markets, Marketing and Communications (CMMC) team to roll out firm-wide campaigns across the region, as well as collaborating on branding, internal and external communications, event organization and thought leadership projects. Responsibilities-Regional plan: Develop and implement a regional strategic clients and markets plan in collaboration with the CEO, Africa Clients and Markets Leadership Committees and Country CMMC Leads.-Sectors and Key Clients: Support the firm-wide sector and key client programs and the implementation of the regional sector and key client programs.-Brand awareness: Increase internal and external brand awareness of Africa through consistent regional marketing activity and by leveraging firm-wide campaigns.-CMMC Leadership: Attend and contribute to Regional CMMC Leadership meetings.-Regional collateral: Develop regional collateral including ensuring the Africa brochure, Africa web page and the Africa CEO bio are kept up to date.-Regional Town Halls and Regional Partner Meetings: Work with the CEO, Partner Lead and Project team to develop the agenda for and deliver Africa Region Virtual Town Halls/Partner Meetings. Identify the theme, suitable participants. Coach speakers and panellists.-Digital & Brand: Ensure relevant regional news is communicated across all Member firms' social media platforms as well as the Global platforms.-Directory and Awards: Coordinate annual training session with Global Directory Manager and draft Africa-wide directory and awards submissions, most notably Chambers Africa-wide and African Legal Awards 2023.-Pitches and Proposals: Coordination of Pan-African proposals where the CEO is the Lead Partner, including liaising with referral firms to ensure their input is included.-Regional contact: Attend and contribute to CMMC meetings where a regional CMMC Lead is required.-Team leadership: Co-ordinate Country CMMC Leads on global and regional campaigns, coach and train where needed.-Develop and grow your network and build trusted relationships with clients and prospects.Job specification: Clients and Markets Manager – Africa RegionExperience, Skills & KnowledgeTechnical Experience and Skills-5years clients and markets experience working in a professional services environment-Proven track record in business development, marketing, and client management.-Excellent spoken and written English skills-Management and leadership skills are a must-Experience of developing and implementing business and marketing plans, including budgeting-Experience of creating and rolling out marketing campaigns-Events development and coordination-Experience of driving through change in a challenging environmentPersonal Skills / Attributes-Excellent organisational, planning, problem-solving and time management are essential-Attention to detail-Strong teamwork abilities-Entrepreneurial mind-Outstanding interpersonal/communication skills-Ability to prioritise and multi-task within a dynamic team to meet deadlines and exceed expectations-Self-starter with a strong work ethic and desire to learn-Can carry out all responsibilities in a way which supports the region's values and promotes its equal opportunities and diversity principles-High level of proficiency in all basic MS suite products, e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
