Our client is looking for a clinic coordinator whose function will be to assist the Health Manager and Doctor in the efficient running of a Clinic. Qualifications Required Grade 12 / Matric Drivers Licence Responsibilities / Relevant Tasks Clinic duties Ordering and receipt of medical stock and medicationBook follow up appointments.Book referral appointmentsPreparation of patients’ folders prior to appointmentsSend files and acute scripts for medications to D6 after each clinic and arrange collection and follow up.Issue of medication to Clinic members.Collection and receipting of clinic fees. Taking and Recording of routine patient clinical observations Prepare 6 monthly medication scripts in collaboration with the Health Manager and Doctor, sort and submit to the day hospital for checking and submission to CDU.Follow up on patients who have defaulted on a booked appointment.Daily checking and recording of Medication fridge temp.Ensure cleanliness of the fridge weekly Admin Telephone queries, orders and bookingsKeeping records up to dateStock controlData capturing and stats kept up to date.Fees cash recon monthly Transportation Deliver and/ collect folders, specimens, X- rays and medication from to WCHC, CDU, OPD and GSH, in the absence of the Driver. Waiting Room Ensure that the waiting room is neat, comfortable with up-to-date health literature General · Teamwork is essential to achieve the vision, mission and values of the NOAH programme in the communities we serve. A flexible and helpful attitude is needed at all times. · Although we take a team approach, you will be required to manage the administrative functions of the clinic independently. · To be available to assist with other duties not stipulated on this description, within reason. · Good Sense of humour would be appreciated.
