Cloud Security Specialist - South Africa
Our client has an opportunity available for a Clous Security Specialist based in Pretoria. Requirements: Minimum qualification of a NQF level 7 Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent qualification. Professional Information Security Certification. 5 years’ experience working in a cybersecurity role, of which 3 years must be on Azure services and managing or supervising a team. Solid understanding of the following security frameworks: ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27002, NIST CSF would be advantageous. Experience in either DevSecOps, Application Security, Security Architecture or Offensive Security would be advantageous. Responsibilities: Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, availability and accessibility of information and systems by authorised users based on appropriated standards. Contribute to the implementation of the Balance Score Card initiatives. Define and maintain the cybersecurity strategy for the organization Ensure that the network and data remain secure through active information and cyber security management. Define, implement, and efficiently maintain technology security controls and requirements in relation to the cloud platform. Design appropriate remedial actions for identified risks. Provide technical expertise to the solution or technical architect regarding systems requirements and solutions. Establish, build and maintain collaborative working relationships with relevant internal stakeholders. Scan the environment to ensure a clear understanding of stakeholder needs. Manage service level agreements. Manage service level agreements. Contribute to the compilation of centre budgets and manage project expenditures related to functional area.
