Drake International Job Description : We are seeking a responsible and reliable Driver/Delivery Man to join our team. The Driver/Delivery Man will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities : Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods/products to designated locations. Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and ensure timely delivery to customers. Load and unload goods/products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging. Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation from customers upon delivery. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to provide updates on delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicles are in safe operating condition. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and making deliveries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles, including interior and exterior surfaces. Provide exceptional customer service, including courteous interactions with customers and assistance with product inquiries or concerns. Requirements : Valid driver's license code 8/10 with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role. Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns. Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans, trucks, or other company vehicles. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and documentation. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and packages. Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service excellence.
