This opportunity is being offered on behalf of one of our esteemed clients in the financial sector. In this role, you will receive hands-on training and valuable experience in ensuring regulatory compliance within the industry. Main Purpose of the Job:As a Compliance Administrator, you will be provided with comprehensive training and guidance to support our client's operations in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Your role will involve assisting in various compliance tasks and gaining practical experience in the field. Key Areas of Responsibility: Assist with administrative compliance functions. Support in the preparation of compliance reports. Aid in monitoring and identifying non-compliant accounts. Assist in implementing internal controls and procedures for compliance. Participate in creating Compliance awareness initiatives. Description of Tasks: Learn to review account loadings to ensure FICA compliance. Assist in maintaining relevant compliance spreadsheets. Participate in investigations of WLF matches and suspicious transactions. Learn to manage Section 27 requests and report findings. Support in monitoring high-risk clients and conducting FICA reviews. Gain exposure to updating compliance systems and databases. Assist in liaising with clients and staff regarding compliance queries. Support in collating documentation for compliance reviews. Observe and assist in monitoring and advising on blocked/frozen accounts. Observe the reporting process for suspicious transactions. Skills/Personal Attributes Required: Recent graduate with a degree in a relevant field. Basic knowledge or understanding of compliance regulations (FAIS/FICA/Anti-Money laundering, etc.). Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information. Demonstrated ethical standards and integrity. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work well in a team environment. Eagerness to learn and develop new skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
