The main purpose of this position: The confirmations Clerk is responsible for daily communication with medical aids, nursing staff and medical practitioners regarding confirmations of medical aids and pay Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative role Advanced computer literacy SAP experience is compulsory Previous reception experience with be an advantage Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with the application of clinical knowledge in the risk management of patients in terms of length of stay, level of care and ICD and CPT coding Handle information of a confidential nature Ensure all patients have authorisation numbers Ensuring that new born baby registrations are followed duo and authorisation numbers are obtained Ensure all information obtained from the medical aid is captured on the system and conveyed/escalated appropriately Assisting with Bi-annual stock takes Assisting with data capturing Manage associated administrative tasks Assisting with obtaining of letter of motivations from treating doctors where required Assisting stakeholders with authorisation and other enquires Should you meet the above requirements, we urge you to please apply by forwarding your CV along with any supporting documents to tracyglass-house.co.za Apply Now
